     Echo got the most wonderful home with Kristina, who manages Furst Choice Doggy Day Care. Echo gets to go to work with Kristina everyday and loves playing with many other dogs. Rescued from a high kill shelter, she was adopted but had to be kept in a crate many hours because her owners had no fence and a lifestyle change. Tillie was then returned to us, as they realized this wasn't fair to her. This new fur-ever home is a dream come true for her. Couldn't be more thrilled for Echo! Great owners! Thanks, Rescue Me!

     Carolyn was very urgent at a high kill shelter. A wonderful man contacted me and offered to foster Carolyn. She was pulled from the shelter, and is no longer in danger. She is in a foster home and bonding with her new foster sister. Thank you, Rescue Me!

     We had been searching for a playmate and companion for our Chocolate Lab, Jack, for about a month. We had a couple of meet and greets with two other dogs that didn't work out for us. They were with other rescues and then we found Joyful Rescues through Rescue Me. They expedited our application when hearing we had been approved by other rescues, and so we selected Kendra, a three-year-old Basenji mix as our choice to add to our pack. What a choice she has turned out to be. She is such a sweet, crazy girl who just loves her men, both canine and human. We are so thankful for allowing us to adopt her into our home. The whole experience was more than pleasant, and we would recommend you to anyone interested in adopting. Thanks again, Harvey and Gail

     It was only one day before we received a call. They came and met with Buffy and she was adopted. She is doing great. She gets along with the other dogs and had bonded to her new owner.      I've been trying to find Lance the perfect home for a basenji for several months. Last week I found out about Rescue Me! and posted all my rescued dogs. I received two inquiries for Lance almost right away and found THE PERFECT HUMAN for sweet Mr. Lance!!! I'm so happy for Lance now in his forever home. Thank you Rescue Me!!!

     Jeff - I can't thank you enough for having this wonderful website. The day after I posted the adoption notice, I received the first call, and within hours after that I was contacted by a volunteer from BRAT (Basenji Rescue and Transport). As early as next week, my little lady, Layla, will be in a Basenji savvy foster home and BRAT will attend to her every need until they find her a forever home. It's making the pain of giving her up a little easier to take. THANK YOU!

     Hi Jeff, We placed the Basenji, with an absolutely wonderful angel, Valerie Brown. The owner of the Basenji (Dingo) died on October 1, and he had three dogs. Before he died he asked me to take care of the dogs as he knew I would follow his wishes. I was not too worried about the other two, which are mini-St. Bernard's and are about 1 1�2 years old. But my heart was with Dingo. She was the one that knew her Master was never coming home to her again. Last Friday we had a gathering at Dingo's home for her master, Denny. His daughter just had too much on her 'plate' having 3 kids and her Dad dying and she has health issues and lives an hour away. So I decided I had to do something. She could not take any of the dogs and the only other option was the pound. I could not let that happen. I went home and went on your web site and Valerie emailed me immediately! I can't tell you how happy I was. Dingo was going to be rescued!! Valerie came for her on Saturday. She is truly a wonderful, kind, caring person. I knew from the second I met her that Dingo was going to be OK and loved. I can't thank your organization enough! Deb Carey
